| The U.S. Freestyle Ski Team's Pat Deneen (Cle Elum, WA)
is on the
road coaching and training in the lead up to the kickoff of the World
Cup season, which begins Dec. 13 in Moscow. The following is a
personal account from Deneen on a trip from
Mt. Hood in OR to
Whistler during the month of August before the team headed to
Chile.

-U.S. Freestyle Ski Team moguls skiers are experiencing
flawless
slope conditions during a two week camp in Chile where, according to
Moguls Head Coach Scott Rawles, the athletes have all made
improvements on their skills.
-Shannon Bahrke (Tahoe City, CA) is by no means your average
moguls skier. The Olympic silver medalist may seem like she runs bumps
all day long, but with a passion for
things like coffee, race cars, music
and the color pink, Bahrke turns the ordinary into the extraordinary
in
a way only she knows how.
-Connecticut locals' favorite mogul hill, Ski Sundown
initiated contact with Sundown's Mountain Operations Manager, Chris
Sullivan earlier this week. Blasko provided
feedback about last year's
(06/07) mogul offerings, and Sullivan responded with some promising
intentions for this season (07/08).
