K2 CaBrawler Review
The CaBrawler is a ski that was developed by K2 with US Freestyle Team member Travis Cabral. It was designed with competition
and serious mogul skiing in mind. This is a medium stiffness ski with not much sidecut, as is preferred in the bumps.
It's dimensions are 92/66/82.
This ski absolutely rips through the zipperline with zero trouble. Going from an all-mountain
ski to this ski makes all the difference in the world. It handles even the tightest troughs with ease. It responds extremely
quickly and accurately, and the twin tip also allows for easy landing of aerials and other park skiing, as well as skiing switch.
The
CaBrawler also handles itself well on the corduroy, as long as you don't plan to be ripping GS turns through gates. The
ski is ok in crud, but would not be the ideal first choice for a crud-only day. It skis well in powder up to about a foot.
Beyond that, the ski sinks quite a lot due to it's small size under foot. However... you'll absolutely love skiing powder bumps
on it. As far as trees, it does fine. But because there's barely any sidecut, be aware that the radius is quite a lot
wider than most all-mtn skis, so be careful in tight trees where you need to make quick carved turns.
This ski is recommended
to anyone ready to tear up the zipperline on a quality, affordable ski. It can be found in the $200-400 price range.
From the manufacturer:
Travis has once again helped us design and refine the ultimate mogul ski. It combines a nimble and quick

bumps and bruises that any zipper line dishes out.
